General Building and Residential Contractors Programs. Each module covers separately Business & Finance, Contract Administration & Project Management.
There is Highlighting exercising through each module, on our audio/visual portion of the Prep. Then individual coaching through each module. (Business & Finance, Contract Administration & Project Management).
Each module is done by individual coaching to accommodate your schedule, via classroom, Zoom or Facetime phone.
Several steps are required: (1) Register with the Florida Contractor Industry Licensing Board (CILB) via Professional Testing; (2) take our prep course and follow the instructions and pass the (3) state exams, Business & Finance, Contract Administration & Project Management. No. We instruct you as to where and how to do it along the way. We believe this helps you know the material and know better where it is located in the books than if we did it for you.

120 questions in a 6 1/2-hour exam
Remember…Business and Finance is always (120). The other two (2) trade exams & contract administration and project management differ as to the license being tested for. General Contractor is (60) questions each, Building Contractor is (50) questions each and Residential Contractors is (45) questions each.

Probably yes. If it is over five hundred dollars ($500), you must be licensed. Florida is tough on violators, as you may be aware of.
Yes, the books are everything along with our instructions. We will instruct you as to which books are necessary for the state exams, and which ones you can take into the testing site.

No. Unfortunately, this is personalized, strictly guarded and only for you.
They are given at ANY Pearson Vue location in Florida or Nationwide (6) days a week from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm EST.
Your exam grade is good for four (4) years.
No, you have (4) years to get all your experience necessary, exam scores are good for (4) years
Basically, General is unlimited building. A Building contractor can build up to three (3) stories of commercial or residential . A Residential contractor can build up to two (2) stories, residential only.
Yes, Business & Finance, Contract Administration & Project Management can be purchased separately as individual modules; but you save roughly $300 dollars purchasing them all at once.

No. You will retake only the exam you failed.
Yes. 14 hours of approved continuing education is required every two (2) years, ending on August 31 of even numbered years (2024, 2026, etc).
